Question: Why job share?
Flexible working is on the increase and employers are working harder to offer their employees more work-life balance. Job share can be a great way to do this, and even better, the employer will benefit from the experience and skills of two people doing the job, not just one.

Question: Who is ExecJobShare for?
ExecJobShare is aimed at executive level job seekers who want to work flexibly or part-time. Whether you're a mum wanting a better balanced working life after maternity leave, someone looking for part-time work that is better fit for your skills, or you simply want a bit more time to yourself, job share could be the answer for you.

ExecJobShare is also for employers who want to offer their staff more flexible work options or who are struggling to find a skilled full-time employee to fill a vacancy.

Question: Will offering job share cost me more as an employer?
Employers who have been doing this for a while (Google and Virgin to name a couple) recognise that any increase in costs is minimal, and that they gain far more in terms of employee satisfaction and diverse skills. Job share - one job, twice the talent.

Question: How does it work?
Employers offering job share opportunities sign up to advertise their vacancies on this site. Anybody looking to job share can upload their CV, browse the vacancies and apply directly to the employer once they have found a suitable job share opportunity. Employers then carry out their own screening and recruitment process. For a premium, employers can also access the database of candidate CVs. And that’s it! A simple site to save you time and double your talent.

Question: What areas does ExecJobShare cover?
Execjobshare.com can accept candidate registrations and job share vacancies from locations within England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

The additional services offered by Execjobshare and About Talent are primarily offered within the South East and Home Counties but please email us if you have an enquiry that falls outside the South East.

While we cover all sectors, job share seems to be the most common in public services and teaching although many other sectors are becoming aware of the benefits of offering job share so we expect this to be an area of growth.

Question: How do I register?
From the Homepage go to the Register Now section at the bottom of the page and complete the details requested.  You will be sent an email and you need to click on the link in that email and then your registration will be complete.  You do not need to register if you just wish to search vacancies, but will need to if you wish to upload a CV and submit an application for a vacancy you are interested in.

Question: Do I have to pay to register as a candidate?
No, it is free to register as a candidate with Execjobshare.com

Question: How much does it cost to post a vacancy?
Our pricing structure is as follows:

1 advert 90 days £375

1 featured advert 90 days £495 (your company logo will be featured)

1 advert for 90 days with access to the jobseeker database £595

Each top up advert to your main plan £99 for 90 days

Education Sector special rate each advertisement £125 for 90 days.

Question: How do I post a vacancy?
Advertising your job share vacancies on ExecJobShare.com is simple. Register as an employer and then choose our basic plan to advertise a single vacancy for a maximum of three months, or upgrade to our premium plan for full access to the database of job share seekers. You can also choose to feature on the homepage and sidebar for maximum exposure. Find out more here.

Question: How many job share vacancies can I post?
You can choose between several different payment plans offering different levels of access and exposure, to suit your needs. Each plan allows you to post one vacancy for 90 days, and you can buy top-up plans if you want to post more than one vacancy at a time. 

Question: How do I upload my CV?
Once you have registered, you will be given access to the Job Sharers' Dashboard, where you can upload an existing CV as a Word (.doc or .docx) file from your computer, or create one from scratch using our online template. Log in using the email address and password you created when you registered, click on the "Upload CV" or "Create CV" links on the right hand side of your screen, and follow the instructions.

Question: How can I access candidate CVs?
When a candidate responds to a job share vacancy you have posted, their CV will be sent to you as part of the application process. You can access the full database of candidate CVs if you have signed up to our Premium Plan.

Question: Can I post other job vacancies, not just job share?
ExecJobShare has been designed for job share vacancies and flexible working vacancies only.

Question: When I see a vacancy of interest to me, how do I apply?
Click on "More details" to see the full advert. You have the option to Save the Application to come back to at a later time, or if you click Send Application, you will start the application process immediately. Make sure you have uploaded or created a CV and cover letter before you apply. You will be prompted to add a cover letter if you wish (we advise that you should, tailored to the role, otherwise only your CV will be sent.). Once you have selected your cover letter, click Send Application again and your CV (and cover letter if you chose to add one) will be submitted directly to the employer. The employer will contact you if they would like to take your application further.

Question: How do I feature my vacancy on the home page?
Select a relevant payment plan that allows you to Feature Jobs, post your vacancy, and it will automatically feature on the homepage and sidebar once it has been verified.

Question: Why have I not had a response to my application?
Your CV and covering letter are submitted through the ExecJobShare.com website directly to the employer who is advertising the vacancy and they will contact you should your application be of interest to them.

Question: How do I delete my profile?
If you wish to remove your profile, please email us and your details will be deleted from our database.

Question: What other services do you offer?
To help you get the best out of your job share experience we can provide an onboarding service where we help the employer and job share employees settle in by working out a strategy for success. This can be particularly helpful if one or more of the parties is new to job share and is a lot more cost-effective than having an employee leave because it is not working out. Please email us at execjobshare.com for more details.
